nah, you aren't being pessimistic bro. i never said i was gonna ask sponsors to pay for this particular artist. it would still be a private webmaster event. not gonna count on sponsors for anything. if they want to be a part of something and they feel that a professionally planned and executed marketing opportunity featuring a list talent would benefit their brand, i would be more than happy to work wth sponsors. sometimes you just do things, just to do them. i apologize on the formal formal announcement lagging. it is veryu early to even do an announcement about january. i got excited and pulled the trigger when i got the committment. i'm stoked either way. 4 or 5 of the people i want are available the date i am looking at, so we will be concrete in a little while. this thread was good to stir the consensus of who people are expecting. based on the responses, i'd say i am very very close to the entertainment mentality of the webmasters of 2005. we gon have a party.
