I travelled alone for the first time when I was 14. I went to turkey for a week.
I rented an apartment near toronto for 6 weeks or so when I was 18.
Nothing wrong with travelling by yourself, however there's nothing wrong with travelling with company.
friends = booze induced party
girlfriend = umm.. well, just take a lot of cash with you.
