It's scary how fast they're becoming a super power. They already control the Panama canal, one of the most important strategic resources on the planet. A lot of people don't realize that. America creates the country of Panama, builds the canal, and then less than 100 years later looses control of it to communists. Once they're able to purchase Unocal, expect them to start grabbing up energy and defense companies like crazy. They have close to one trillion dollars in reserve US currency, enough to buy Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and every existing US energy company.
