It's obvious if you pay any attention that China is going to be invading Taiwan within the next year or two, possibly as soon as this summer. This is just giving the US an excuse to break their treaty and stay out of it. China doesn't want war with America any more than America wants war with China.

Keep in mind, the PLO realizes how devastated their country would be if this scenario played out, and they're still ready to do it. That's because they know that Americans would not be able to deal with 100 cities on the western coast being destroyed. Look how big a deal they made out of 3000 people dying for fuck's sake.
