I hate to say it but she has an excellent chance of winning.
Right now the Republican party base is in mutiny. It's not being covered by the MSM but illegal immigration threatens to split the republican vote.
Perot in 1992 took just enough votes away from Bush to put Clinton in office. A 3rd party candidate running on an immigration platform in 2008 could take enough conservative votes away from the Republican base to put a Hillary type Democrat into office.
There is already the beginning of a serious 3rd party. The minutemen project anti-illegal immigration movement is gaining serious momentum and is already planning to mount a huge offensive in the 2006 congressional campaign.
