The movement of light these creatures are bred for was portrayed quite well.

Imagine god coming over to someones house with one of these phase jumpers in his seat, then sending it under the foundations of the persons house, then that person, being smart, pulls out his gun and shoots it through the floor, at which point it is killed, and found later at it's home (some white wannabe kewl/elite god followers underground lock/basement.).
