Been doing this for moths. As soon as I offered more non-rebilling options, sales went up. The more straightforward I have been with people, the more they have paid.
Now, I offer a non-month nonrecurring membership at the same price as the first month of my recurring membership . It is very popular, and many people sign up for it months in a row, or every other month for a while. (As things are slow this summer, I have dropped the price of the rebilling, but that is how my standard pricing works.)
Being honest with people has this crazy way of working. They like to know that they get to decide when we get their money.
(Then again, I'm not exactly getting rich off of this...)
