A lot of times golfers spend way too much time thinking I have to do this, then this, then this and they get brain overload. Take a couple of practice swings, get a good feel for the club then picture in your mind hitting the ball solidly and the flight of the ball as it goes where you want it to go. Envision the shot mentally and relax. It will help I promise. Golf is at least 75% confidence in what you are doing. If you think you are going to hit it in the water you will!
