i am a fan of AVN and the Internext shows. I don't blame them for wanting to make a buck. I think they provide a quality service. Everyone talks about making it better but no one does it on the scale they do for the price.
But...
I really have to agree with the wisdom of what A1r3k is saying here...except one thing to consider is that Internext is not just catering to the straight market they also are attracting the gay site biz as well so gay talent would have to get the same benefit.
What roger was saying makes sense to allow a discount for "talent" badges which they do for the AVN awards show... but the problem there is that people will take advantage of that and try to say everyone is "talent". Who is set up to monitor that? Aly knows a lot of people but she doesn't know everyone and that would be an impossible task for her ultimately.
Rock and a hard place folks. No need to slam AVN or Internext for trying to make money at the same time as making the best of a difficult situation.
