It appears that Rove (and let me put on my tin foil hat and suggest this goes higher than him) was simply out to discredit Joe Wilson FOR TELLING THE TRUTH, a truth the administration didn't want people to hear. He couldn't attack the message so he attacked the messenger. When that didn't work, he went after the messenger's family.
Even if he broke no laws, what he did was morally reprehensible. I don't think there's any question that the blowing of Valerie Plame's cover is a national security issue. At the least, it would mean one less agent in the field, the shell company that she "worked" for scuttled, and all of the assets working with her potentially compromised.

I like you cannot answer those questions because I don't know all the facts. My point was simply that he did not actually break any law as he "supposedly" did not provide the CIA operatives name, he simple said his wife worked for the CIA. That's all. I agree he should have kept his mouth shut, but the words TRAITOR,TREASON etc should not be brought up at this point, until we know FOR SURE if he did provide her name or not, at this point I think its premature for people to make those comments, and again this sort of thing has been going on for YEARS!
