Hahaha, I sometimes hate my phone.
About a year ago, I had a situation with Allstate Insurance, where they would call my cell phone about 5 times a day, with a different representative every time, for about three weeks. I'd had my cell phone for over 5 years, and only changed my phone number once, about three years previous to the incident, when I moved back down state.
Apparrently, some woman named Sylvia Parker was giving out my cell phone number as her home contact number, and she must have been in some debt, because the people who were calling me were not happy reps. They were convinced that they had the correct number, but that I was trying to avoid Sylvia's calls for her, or was actually Sylvia, and just lying about it to not deal with their situation.
It took me three weeks, talking to several supervisors to straighten out the situation. I don't even know a Sylvia Parker.
