Cool thread.
I think about this often actually. I think after 30 years of life I've come to the realization that money and material goods only fill a small void in one's life. Right now I got a lot of toys, all of which give me little, if any, true happiness.
IMO, true happiness is derived from
1- Creating things- new ideas, businesses, etc. and watching them devellop.
and
2- Having people close to you who care who you can trust without any hesitation or worry.
And although I might not have all the peices needed to feel completely satisfied and happy with life, I'll never complain about my life ever, because compared to most I'm blessed- never hungry, freedom, my own boss.
Life is truly good- especially in the large scheme of things.
