Many commun compunds are known carcinogens, just look at ethanol. Even coffee is a know mutagenic in AMES tests but its all about the concentration in which you use it

Maybe you didnt read this lol...if the current daily reference dose is known to cause cancer then they will either lower the daily reference dose of SLS or remove it from the shelves. Like I said, at high concentrations, coffee is known to be mutagenic...Trust me on this one, my masters didnt go to waste after all!
