I agree.
I've been reading a lot online about training and the like, and apparantly dogs can not make a connection between getting hit and something they did wrong anyways.
The SPCA told me the previous owner was a Female, and she got rid of him because he is destructive when he is alone. He is, but not nearly enough to warrent getting rid of him. All he does really is knock over the trashcans, but I solved that problem. I just hope he doesn't acquire a taste for my brand new sectional.
