ok, i'm going to respond to this thread at the risk of being flamed for being serious instead of silly, but i actually wondered this question myself at one point. my ex-husband was very into anal sex - so much so that he preferred it over vaginal sex. he would be very angry with me if i wasn't up for it, or he would make me feel badly for not wanting to just jump right into anal sex without foreplay or things like, lube - say. (if rape within marriage without clearly saying 'no' exists, i think i was a victim to it.)

now that we're anulled and i've got nothing left to lose on that loser ( ) i look back on the situation and i realise he was very into the control aspect of anal sex and probably had been involved in an abusive relationship in the past where he was on the receiving end of someone else's control issues. i don't think my ex was gay, but i think he had serious control issues. i was made to feel bad for not wanting anal sex as spontaneously as he seemed to and i had a couple male friends tell me that he was obviously gay because of it - but as Halcyon just pointed out, a boy's butt and a girl's butt are still very different.
