Where you're wrong is that men and women are held to opposite standards. In our society, men gain power by having sex, whereas women gain power by withholding it, or at least metering it out carefully.
The more women Ron Jeremy fucks, the grander he becomes. The more guys Guage fucks, the less people give a shit about her.
The smart girl in this business will simply pursue a career as a solo model, or might do g/g (which strangely doesn't seem to count as real sex for sluttiness purposes). When she starts doing b/g, it is only the really exceptional gal whose career goes on for much more than 2 years. Probably half of the big-name male porn stars of 20 or 25 years ago are active in the industry today and have even become more powerful (Ron Jeremy, Peter North, etc.), but where is Annette Haven today? Where is Lisa DeLeeuw? Where is Veronica Hart?
