Yeah, I'd never recommend a Jeep for everyday driving. Their fun for play but I wouldn't want to drive it as a daily use vehicle. The Jeep I just traded in for this one was 7 years old and I had only put 52,000 miles on it. Just sits in the garage patiently waiting to be let out for fun.
