I worked in a tattoo shop from the age of 16-21, 14yrs old is too young for a piercing other than the ears in my opinion..

A girl who is 14, her body is still changing, things are still moving around and changing shapes..

Let alone the fact that most 14 year olds do not have their shit together enough to know how to properly keep up with the aftercare and ensure that they do not do anything that risks infection.

A navel piercing is also a LONG healing piercing, the length of time it takes to heal fully is far longer than any other piercing that is done regularly.

I would say 16-18 is the age she should get this.. (preferably 18)

Plus the stigma behind a piercing like this is very bad, especially if you like to keep your daughter as innocent as possible (which I know I would be doing myself) lol..
