I think that regardless of gender, once you are riding high in the business, you are *probably* less likely to play on the boards or be very visible. I'm sure there are exceptions too.
Who is more driven than a mom to keep a good home, keep her kids in school and well fed? I cant think of another person more motivated to work hard honestly. In general terms. So people shouldnt be surprised is all I'm saying. There are lots of smart, motivated people in this business, and plenty of them are women.
