I'll have to disagree with you there. That attitude is exactly what has been wrong with art for the past 40 years or so. The idea that because there is no absolute, objective measure of "art", everything is art and everything is equal is both absurd and perverse. It las led to generations of untalented artists creating hundreds of thousands of crappy paintings and sculptures all asking the same ridiculous question: "What is art, and what are the limits of art?"
The next time some untalented, scrawny, pseudo-intellectual self-proclaimed artist shows me his uninspired little nothings and tells me he wanted to "explore the limits of art", I am probably going to punch him in the face and keep on punching until there's nothing left of his smuck little face but a bloody pulp.
Not everything is art, not everything is good, not everything is equal.
