True, but then you could also be a philanthropist and study, work on special projects/goals, travel, adventure.. (tho you'd need more than a $3m base these days to be able to do that without funds running out.. but if you invest wisely enough then it's doable). You wouldn't have to worry about making X amount each month if you're financially secure/independently wealthy.
