I think that if the Israeli government really wanted this from the beginning then it would be possible to change united states' stand on this issue, but apparently Sharon needs this plan carried out to deceive the public's interest in his personal corruption issues, because it is definitely not carried out for security reasons, as the last IDF commander (Moshe Yaalon) was clearly against this plan, as were many other important figures including Avi Dichter, former head of the General Security Services.
It is also interesting how they were both handled the un-democratic way. Both are not in their position anymore.
It is more then reasonable to believe that the pullout plan will only bring more terrorism.
It is also more then reasonable that the majority of Israelis are against this plan.
and it is a fact that it costs tons of money for the government.
Or maybe you meant what do I think about this article (Israel seeking US funding for the pullout plan)...
well, it seems pretty fair to me. after all, it was all US's idea in the first place (the road map).
