you aren't starting with the same base...the 9/11 stuff came out of the blue...this in part of the same fight in the eyes of people that are fighting it so there isn't going to be a big war launched in addition to what is going on. The British have more experience with being bombed and London in particular..people will largely brush it off but I do think we are in place for a major overhaul of Underground security.
