Spain had troops in Iraq, Britain still has. Why do you think they get targetted and not Canada, Germany or Japan? Cells are everywhere (the 9/11 ones where in Germany and Spain) but the Madrid massacre was claimed by the terrorists as a revenge for the war in Iraq. This attack will see the same message.
The extremely badly managed, illegal and imperialist war in Iraq over lies, the torturing of Iraqis by the US, the killing of Iraqi civilians and the corrupt Iraqi puppet regime are the best recruitment campaigns Al-Qaeda can dream of. Even the CIA has started saying that.
Iraq was terrorist free, now the US and the UK have turned it into a terrorist playground at the cost of the Iraqi people and the shrinking coalition troops that are unfortunate enough to be sitting duck there because their only mission is to give their lives for making the neocons richer by having them rob Iraq from its natural ressources.
