It basically speeds up your internet by saving cached versions of pages in google's memory banks. Google checks if it can recieve the cached version faster than the real version, if it can it gives you that version..
But if lets say someone logged into stats and was running the google accelerate program it might save that cached version and give it to the next guy ( i.e. you ).
