Turn on the news and see what happened? If there was a fatal incident on the 110, it will most likely make the news.
My only problem with the story is, if it was a fatal accident / incident, they would have shut the freeway down for the investigation. Was it just LAPD or was it CHP? I also doubt the dead guy would have been left uncovered for everyone to see. Standard operating procedure dictates covering the victim.
