well, I don't believe they've proven irrefutably that humans emit/respond to pheromones, but essentially they do - the pheromones that are supposed to attract women are the same ones men secrete when they sweat.. and I KNOW that most women don't like shoving their faces into a mans armpit to get a good whiff for a turn-on factor.
So, the manufactured pheromones are supposedly based on these same pheromones and so should attract women.
I've heard both positive and negative results about pheromones, I think it often helps that men feel much more confident wearing them, if you're feeling more confident, more 'sexy', then you're also going to be portraying that through your body language, and your body will also be naturally producing more of these pheromones so you'll have a more concentrated stream of them around you. Therefore, they should work - but I think it's one of those 'individual results may vary' type deals
