A millionaire by the age of 18! wow. I?m really impressed!
Do you mean that you made a 'million dollars' by age 18 or were you ACTUALLY worth a million dollars? Cuz' there is a big difference!

In either case, I fail to see how posting such a statement makes you someone worthy of self-promotion?

Though I can not make the claim myself of being a 'millionaire', I can honestly say that when that day comes, I would not publicly shout it out nor would I even consider making that statement on a public forum, such as this.

Exactly what are you hoping to gain by making such a claim? If you're looking for friends, sorry. You just shot yourself in the foot! (My opinion though) If you're looking for sarcasm, well. You hit the jackpot! Good going!

Making a million really isn?t nothing...if you play your cards right! (Got lucky in the stock market before the bear market came.... created a cool software program and sold it to a Fortune 500 company...etc, etc,) HOWEVER, the bigger question is can you KEEP the money in the bank longer then just a few months or a year?

Can you turn a MILLION dollars into 2 or even 3 million in half the time it took you to make the first million?

If you want respect, I'd suggest (again, MY OPINION) that in the future, you use this approach:

"Hey everyone! Thought I'd let you know that I hit one of my 'life goals' last week! What was it you ask? Well, honestly it was to accumulate (Insert Number) MILLION DOLLARS by my (insert #) birthday and I just crossed it off my 'things to do in life before I die" list!

How did I do it? Well, I started with (Insert FACT 1), then I took the profits from that and got started doing (Insert FACT 2) and then when that hit its stride, I started on (Insert Fact 3) and then everything just started coming together"

Just my $.02 worth
