If you got 1 gallery listed on a TGP that is not yours, the chance of making a sale is less than if you have several galleries listed on your own TGP. Why? Because most surfers click more than one time before they buy anything. If you got 1,000,000 hits to galleries but all generated from 5 tgps with a total of 100,000 unique surfers... I bet you'd make a lot less than if you have 1,000,000 hits to galleries generated from 100 tgps with a total of 1,000,000 unique surfers.
While a paying surfer, on average, buys more than one membership, I don't think they do it all at once. I'm of the belief that sign ups are generated from galleries (it's different from other methods) with the surfer's "cock-in-hand". That's to say he found something that really did it for him and he wants to see more of that right now. If this is true, it clearly supports the theory that more unique hits = more sales. Who knows, maybe I don't know shit.
