The movie was very choppy. Who remembers when the alien machine grabbed the vehicle that Cruise was in? If you watch closely, he was trapped. Then suddenly, he was running after the annoying kid. They didnt show how he would have escaped from the alien machines grip.
Little shit like that pissed me off. If someone is captured by an alien, I sure as fuck want to see how they get away.
