I think almost all of us have been tempted even if we've never done it. It's not really a 'being desperate' issue, it's just the fact that 99.9% of women can never keep up with the average male's sex drive. Nobody gets it everyday whenever they want while in a relationship but with hookers you can.
What keeps many of us away is the cleanliness issue or worry of disease.
