If you're serious about losing weight then join Weight Watchers (you can buy the program online if you don't want to go to meetings) and exercise regularly. Weight Watchers is one of the ONLY truly healthy diets on the market. The majority of the other diets out there (atkins, suzanne somers, etc.) REALLY fuck up your system long term. Also, don't take any pills or anything like that...they can be dangerous and are not a long term solution. With Weight Watchers, you can expect to lose about 5 pounds in the first week and then about 2 per week after that, if you follow the rules and exercise too. I lost a bunch of weight (40 pounds about a year ago) with them in conjuction with exercising, and I've kept it off as well. I used to be...umm...curvy and now I'm nice and tight
