I should have included that in my first post. It was definitely not a suicide, apparently one of my friends had even seen him leaning over right before it happened and had gotten a little nervous.
If it were a suicide I wouldn't have gotten tits deep in a dirty ass river to try to save his ass. Two showers later and I still feel like calling the fire department and seeing if they can hose me down.
For anyone familiar with Winnipeg, it was the Assiniboine, not the Red, so I'm not COMPLETELY contaminated.
