Due to its innervation and etc, the anus has long been known for being a source of sexual pleasure, for men and women. Many men become self conscious during a prostate exam because they get an erection, and that's a medical fact known for decades.
But you're right, it's all blurred, if it keeps going this way, guess everyone will be at least 'curious' in the future, lol.
