Well i won't start this discussion, what his intentions were or were not are irrelevant to me...i just figured i would explain common reasons why this would happen.
Typically if you want to test a sponsor for shaving, buy some really shitty traffic, let an hour pass after its done, then, signup for a 1-time signup fee, or let it rebill until you are even or have lost a dollar....that way its not fraudulent.
Plus there are so many fucking variables, like cookies, browser etc. etc., you would have to do it with multiple cards from multiple places. And you would have to look in the TOS of the program & find out if singing up for their site under your own id is tolerated period. If not they can legally come back & tell you to fuck off anyways.
But what i would NOT DO, is make one purchase, then come on GFY & even hint that a major sponsor was shaving. I would do it on a much larger scale from freshly installed pc's on different ip's in different states & countrys. Then come & post PROOF. (which could be debunked itself) but atleast i'd know for myself & find another sponsor.
