50 Cent was like 3 years old when I graduated HS
Disco was full bloom when I was in high school, so I don't hear many of the "hits" from those days on the radio. Blinded By the Light (Manfred Mann) and Rich Girl (Hall and Oates) always reminds me of a big R.O.T.C. road trip to Pensacola because a bunch of people brough radios and those 2 songs played nearly constantly. The first Dire Straights album reminds me of navy boot camp because we all chipped in a buck to have a radio for the barracks and it had a tape player and that was the only tape in the building (to this day I
hate their music

A lot of the punk/new wave stuff through '81 reminds me of a club and the friends I hung out with in Norfolk Virginia.
There's a few 90's songs that remind me of various things. Would go through some but I gotta go run play taxi driver for a couple of family members
