secondly about this slump so many ppl. are talking about, if you minus off the late Feb. release of last year, "The Passion of the Christ", which did almost $400 Million domestically, its actually slightly ahead of last year. "The Passion" was an anomally for a February early spring release........usually thats one of the worst times of the year to release a picture regarding domestic box office. so the slump, although having some merit, as the actual number of weeks in a row with less $$$ compared to last year is accurate and growing, is also visited with hype.

true, people are buying more dvds and watching them at home instead of putting up with obnoxious viewers or aisles with no leg room, or $30 popcorn barrels...........but its not as bad as the hype leads one to think.

besides, movie ticket prices are way too high and the price point needs to be readjusted imo.
