the two most precious commodities in any draft are point guards and centers. all the top PGs were gone by the time LA was up and bynum is considered to have the highest upside (they've even got me saying it now) of any big man in the draft. he's a legit 7', 300lber who can move. he's obviously raw but the intangibles are there and unlike most "centers" these days he plays with his back to the basket.
you're just as likely to hit it big with a high-schooler as you are to end up with a bust. bynum is worth the gamble at 10.

maybe your right.it took tyson chandle and eddie curry 3 years to finally hit their stride..unfortunately phils under contract only for 3 years,so hopefully he can pick up some defensive intensity under the zen doctor
