What I learned from the tangible industry is:

1. Don't lend money or partner to friends or family.
2. Don't trust customers
3. Don't let big companies walk over you
4. Don't send goods without payment
5. If it sounds to good to be true, it is to good to be true. Do your research on buyers who seem they have too much money on their hands to avoid fraud.
6. Always get a receipt even when dealing with million dollar suppliers you have dealt with for years.
