Many people say that beastiality is cruel to animals because the animal can't say "no" or "turn away". Have you ever tried giving a dog or cat a bath? That is no walk in the park. The dog goes crazy, flailing everywhere, nipping and biting. To me, that is the animals self-defense. There way of saying "no". Now if somebody was trying to perform a sexual act on said animal, wouldn't the response be similar? Wouldn't doggie be biting and going ape shit during the act if he really didn't enjoy it? I've never seen any beastiality so I don't know exactly what happens, but I was always under the impression that the animal seemed fairly relaxed and entertained.
Like I said, I have no idea how beastiality works and I'm not pro or con, just curious as to the "animal cruelty" behind it.

Trying to give a little kid a bath or making them go where you want them to go creates similar responses, but it's still wrong to force sex on them.
Animals can't give consent and hopefully we've evolved to the point where we think it's wrong to have sex with someone or something who doesn't give consent.
