You are so idiot, old people and babies ever and everywhere die more in summer than in other seasons...
And air conditioner isn't the solution. Or old people and babes have to live all the summer in a room with air conditioner and never go outside?
Pleeeeease....
Air conditioner is just a placebo (expensive in money and electricity) and some country can't use so many electricity without sense.
Last year in italy we have lots of problems with electricity because of there are too many air conditioner activated during the summer and our electric system wasn't projected to support it. And is not really easy to modify a national electric system in italy. There are lots of problem, geographic problems and urban conformation problems.
P.S: please compare people who died in usa cities during the summer and people who died in europe. You can realize by yourself that is about the same...
