Paul is amazing, I agree. But I just find it ironic, you thought enough - to regard/correlate this topic with a beatle (aka the beatles). Yet didn't even make reference to John even thereafter strumming off a few others besides Paul on your list. You get what I mean? If you truly appreciate Paul, I don't see how John doesn't squeeze his way into your life.

The Beatles' (White). The contrast is clear, McCartney is singing about Martha my Dear (great song, but very pop-ish), or Honey Pie. And then you have Lennon with a Happiness is a Warm Gun. That is written with so much creative freedom, it could be perceived as a kicking-heroin song, underlying sexual innuendo, or just an all out anti-gun campaign.*
