In many way's (except for raw power), women's professional tennis is more fun to watch than men's tennis, since there is a lot more finesse involved.
The women power players are changing that to some extent, but especially when you are playing on non-hard surfaces such as grass or clay, the matches are quite interesting and the competition is very intense.
It's too bad, but doubles tennis rarely gets the same media coverage as singles tennis, however in actuality more people play doubles tennis - it's a very different game that requires different skills, but at the amateur level can be every bit as exciting, if not more so, than singles tennis.
