I ran across a neat little piece of software that I think you guys who are shooters might like to add to your arsenal. It's called
DW Download and here's what's so great about it.
This piece of software will allow you to download your images from your CF card into different folders on different drives at the same time. This is great for all you anal shooters (no pun intended) that need to backup your pictures after a shoot. Instead of backing them up, just download dups of them to different drives at the same time. Download a copy to your D-Drive, your E-Drive and maybe even an external hard-drive???
It'll automatically rotate your images (what a pain in the ass that little chore can be sometimes) and....you can maintain the same diretory structure like it is on your card or just choose to download the images only (my camera sticks 100 images in a folder then starts sticking images into a second folder...etc.). I can choose during my download to keep that same structure or choose to only download the images.
I downloaded the trial last night - it'll definently come in handy for me and well worth the $30! Use it now....and thank me later
