It's not from any culture, he was born here... it's more like a "gangsta-tough guy" mentality that some guys have as in "if you look at me the wrong way or disrespect me I'm gonna shoot you" type of thing. He just claims that's the way he grew up and he used to run around with the gangbanging crowd when he was a teen so I guess that's where it comes from I guess.
