No, he doesn't mean she has to curse out other girls; he means more as in perhaps sneer at the other guy, or hold his hand or hug him, so th eother guy KNOWS that she is taken. Yea, I do have to say that he does a good job of always "protecting" his girlfriend when other girls around, such as by grabbing her hand to let the other girls know that he is taken, and to let the other girls know not to mess with him. I guess she is just not used to it...
