If he was being chased, the chaser(s) could potentially be charged with manslaughter or similar - not sure if the charge would stick, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.
Most likely, the dead person is a "nobody" who was a known criminal and thus the Police will likely not do much ... but one can't be certain ... and being that there's likely no statue of limitations (even if the death is classified as accidental), all folks involved would likely do best to never mention the incident at all ever again to anyone unless legally required to do so ... I'm not an attorney and this is just my dimes worth LOL!
