Yea, but the girlfriend didn't talk to the guy in question. She probably should have commented how the other guy was rude and said it out loud so he could hear it, but she didn't, and that is why her boyfriend is mad at her, because she just acted as if nothing happened. He is mad because she accidentally made eye contact with the other guy, and therefore in his eyes, acknowledged the other individual that was being rude to him. It sounds trite and immature but unfortunately it happened... He would have been fine if she didn't look at the other guy, but she did accidentally, because he was in front of her face.
