Exactly. Back when the Lance Armstrong ones started to take off I tried to figure out a way to make some money off of it. I made a shitload of cash off of them on a local level. Some idiot started an office FW email (you know the type) regarding a rumor that she had heard from her sister as to the livestrong bracelets being discontinued. Since she spammed her guestbook, a few of them bounced, and I saw them in the postmaster box later.
I then proceeded to go on the internet, buy in bulk, and sell smaller bulk quantities to people who were selling them far above cost after a panic started among local people.
