I think it's less suprising then a not very surprising thing having a day when it surprised nobody.
People need to chill out and stop killing each other which in this case will never happen. All the time BOTH parties decide that killing is such a good idea this nasty crap is bound to happen. You gotta feel sorry for the kids but then if the grown-ups had more sense...
